How I am clearing my skin:
P.S.-Even though my skin is not a 100% cleared it has cleared up tremendously since the picture in the purple shirt.
I have always suffered from hyperpigmentation, but after I had my foot surergy my skin became really bad. I think it was due to the medication I was on. Everything I ate was breaking my skin out. I had reached out to a person I follow on Instagram. I looked into her pricing and even emailed her. She got back to me with in a couple of hours. She told me that hyperpigmentation was hard to get rid of but it was possible. She charged over $50 to come up with a skin care routine. I told her thank you for your help but I can research the information on my own to create my own skin routine for free. I know that she has helped other people in the past but with my condition she wasn’t all that sure. So the research began. I spent hours reading and watching videos. I want to share my results with you guys!
1. Turmeric Mix
I used this mixture every other day for a month. I did it at night time so by the morning time it was all cleared up. Now it worked perfect for my skin color, but I would suggest trying this when you don’t have to go to work. I would suggest you to use gloves it does change your nail color to orange. There are different variations for the turmeric mix, I tried different variations but the one I liked the most:
*2 Tbs Turmeric
*1 Tbs Honey
*Half a Lemon
*Leave on for 20 minutes
-Turmeric helps with acne due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It helps with breakouts. Helps reduce oily skin. Helps with fading scars.
-Honey helps with lightening the skin. It helps with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial compounds help to decrease the appearances of scars and increase healing and tissue regeneration.
*Side note- I really love the honey because it helps the turmeric stick to your skin when you mix it together. You just have to be careful because to much honey can make it runny.
-Lemon helps with blackhead treatment and acne. Helps with brighter skin and lemons are rich with vitamin c.
*SIDE NOTE- If I needed to get rid of a pimple overnight I would slice a lemon and rub it on my skin and leave it for about 5 minutes. It is a little strong but desperate times call for desperate needs..
2.African Black Soap
The thing with african black soap is there is a lot of different brands out there. I use the ERZULI black soap unscented. I get this brand from my local beauty supply. I use this with every wash.
*TIP: To tell if the black soap is natural you should be able to cut through it with a butter knife. Even a plastic knife.
It helps to fade skin discoloration and dark spots. (Hint Hint: Hyperpigmentation) This soap contains plantain extract, which has antibacterial properties that can help treat acne breakouts. It helps reduce oily skin and it helps to soothe and heal eczema.
-I really love this product because I started to see results in one month. I remember going to work and my co worker was like your face was clearing up and I was so happy because I had began to use makeup to cover up all the blemishes and I hate doing that but desperate times call for desperate needs.
There are many different shades of shea butter out there. Everyone has their opinion on which one they like. Me personally I like the yellow one its suppose to have the most nutrients. I use this every night on my skin and it has worked wonders on my skin. When I first started using shea butter I only used it in my hair but like I said I was on the hunt to clear my skin
Shea Butter helps with blemishes, wrinkles, itching, eczema. This definitely helps with hyperpigmentation. It helps with dark circles under the eyes.
